ChatGPT and Claude users connect from the published listings below. Use this address only when another MCP client asks for an endpoint. OAuth is discovered automatically; do not enter a client ID or client secret.

Set up ChatGPT Set up Claude

Before you start

You need three things:

  1. 1An active ADECI account

    with access to at least one restaurant.

  2. 2A supported AI account

    whose plan and workspace policy allow ADECI connections.

  3. 3The correct setup route

    Open ADECI's published listing for ChatGPT or Claude below.

Keep your credentials private

Never paste your ADECI password into an AI conversation. Enter it only on an ADECI authorization page at mcp.adeci.pt.

Connect your AI client

Choose your client below. Menu names can vary slightly by account or workspace policy.

Connect with ChatGPT

  1. Open ADECI's published listing in ChatGPT's Plugins Directory using the link below.
  2. Sign in to ChatGPT if prompted and use the listing's install or connect action.
  3. Review the connection details and complete ADECI authorization when the sign-in page opens.
  4. Start a new conversation and add ADECI from the tools menu.

The ADECI plugin is live. You do not need developer mode, a custom plugin or a manually entered endpoint. Workspace access may require administrator approval; each member authorizes their own ADECI account.

Claude

Connect from Claude's directory

  1. Open the ADECI Community listing in Claude's Connector Directory.
  2. Confirm that it shows mcp.adeci.pt, Community, Made by ADECI SA, and ADECI - Hospitality and Retail AI Forecasting.
  3. If Claude shows Sign in to add, sign in; then select Connect or Install.
  4. Complete ADECI authorization when mcp.adeci.pt opens.
  5. In a conversation, select + or /, open Connectors, and enable ADECI.

The ADECI connector is published in Claude's Connector Directory as Community. You do not need to add a custom connector or enter the connection address manually. Community connectors are screened by Anthropic but are not Verified or reviewed in depth.

Claude Team or Enterprise

An Owner or Primary Owner makes ADECI available; each member then authorizes their own account:

  1. Open Organization settings > Connectors.
  2. Select Browse connectors and open the mcp.adeci.pt listing made by ADECI SA.
  3. Select Add to your team.
  4. Each member opens the listing, selects Connect or Install, and authorizes ADECI individually.
  5. Members enable ADECI in a conversation from + or / > Connectors.

Authorize ADECI

The same secure flow is used by ChatGPT and Claude. Your browser, not the conversation, handles the sign-in.

  1. Check the address

    Confirm the page is hosted on mcp.adeci.pt.

  2. Sign in to ADECI

    Enter your ADECI email and password on that page.

  3. Review access

    Check the read-only mcp:read permission and listed restaurants.

  4. Allow and return

    Select Allow and wait to return to your AI client.

Five focused tools provide read-only access to restaurant business data.

Find products and ingredients in an authorized restaurant.

execute_metrics_query

Analyze revenue, units, clients, tickets, discounts, cancellations and forecasts.

query_external_factors

Review weather, holidays, events, strikes, sports fixtures and movie calendars.

explain_forecast

Explain forecast drivers using returned SHAP values and available supporting evidence.

Example questions

Try one of these after enabling ADECI in a new conversation.

  • What was my total revenue last week compared with the previous week?
  • Find products matching 'burger', then show the five best-selling matches by units last month.
  • What is the revenue forecast for the next seven days?
  • What events are on my restaurant's calendar next week?
  • Explain the main model drivers behind tomorrow's revenue forecast.

If you can access multiple restaurants, name the restaurant in your question. ADECI still checks access to the selected restaurant on every request. For historical questions, ADECI calculates periods such as 'last week' or 'last month' from that restaurant's latest available sales date rather than today, and returns the exact dates used.

Security and data

The connection keeps the same account and restaurant access rules already used by ADECI.

Limited to your restaurants

Access is limited to restaurants assigned to your ADECI account. ADECI checks access on every request.

Short-lived access

OAuth access tokens last 10 minutes. Refresh tokens last up to 30 days, rotate after use, and can be revoked.

Encrypted connection

ADECI connection credentials are encrypted when stored and are never returned to the connected AI client.

Data handling

ADECI processes tool requests for the selected restaurant. When forecast explanations are requested, selected forecast data and supporting evidence may also be processed by an AI service configured by ADECI. Inputs and results sent to the connected AI client are also subject to that AI provider's data practices. The connection does not provide unrestricted access to databases or web services.

Disconnect ADECI

Disconnecting revokes the AI client's access to ADECI. You can authorize a new connection later.

ChatGPT

Open the ADECI plugin or connection settings, then disconnect or remove it.

Claude

Open Customize > Connectors, find the mcp.adeci.pt connector from ADECI SA, and select Disconnect or Remove. Team and Enterprise owners can remove the organization connector from Organization settings > Connectors.

Troubleshooting

ADECI is missing or unavailable

Open the direct listing for your AI client and check that you are signed in to the intended account. Your plan or workspace policy may restrict access; ask the workspace administrator to make ADECI available.

ChatGPT cannot connect from the listing

Reopen the ADECI listing linked above and retry the connection action. If it remains unavailable, check with your workspace administrator. You do not need to create a custom plugin or enter an endpoint URL.

The ADECI sign-in page does not open

Allow pop-ups for the AI client and select Connect again.

A restaurant is missing

Confirm that the restaurant belongs to the same ADECI account used during authorization.

A new tool is missing

Start a new conversation or disable and re-enable ADECI so the client refreshes the available tools.

Authorization expired or was revoked

Disconnect ADECI in the client settings, then connect it again.
